SONGDOOR 2008 INTL.SONGWRITING COMPETITION - Helping songwriters
everywhere
to improve their craft, SongDoor provides ALL who enter a free self-paced
songwriting course from SongU.com and a professional entry evaluation.
The
Grand Award winner receives a full-band demo, cut on Music Row in
Nashville, a 1-year Platinum Membership to SongU.com, and other great
prizes worth more than $5,000. There are also seven Category Winners.
Total prize purse: more than $25,000. The judges (including mega-hit
writers Joe Beck, Brady Seals and Jason Blume) have worked with Neil
Young, *NSYNC, Tony Bennett, Britney Spears, Kenny Rogers and The Allman
Brothers, to name just a few. Entry deadline: Nov. 15, 2008. Entry fee:
$10. You must be 18 or older. The competition is open to amateurs and
